The vineyard has been part of the family estate since the 17th century. However, it had been neglected until two younger members of the family were infused by a passion for quality winemaking. The project run by José and Daniel Jiménez-Landi dates back to 2004, the sole objective being to produce wines made with respect for the environment, tradition and maintaining a balance with the surroundings. It is precisely the conviction that nature offers the best of itself when it is cultivated respectfully that led them to work the 20 hectares of land that they own organically, and to a start using biodynamic practices. In the 201a Daniel landi chosed to leave the cellar and begin aother project, while Jose still working strongest in the family project , begin his study in oenologism and agronomy, after a past of economist. Focalized on the Garnacha grape, which is the most important variety in the D.O Méntrida, without excluding other varieties that can complement it, such as Syrah.

The area of production are two:
Mentrida the hearth of production, very close from Toledo , with a old viticulture tradition. Here there is the main part of the avineyards , 15 hectars of Garnacha, with a littel part of Syrah, from vineyards fo 12-40 years old at highness of 550-600 meters, with sangly granitc soils. All the agricolture is ecologic. The clime is quite continental, very hot in the summer, with long winters. Here are produced the Bajondillo, (85% garnacha, 10% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon) a representative wine of the area Mentrida as a Vin de Pays.
The other important area is Real de San Vicent situed in the Gredos Mountain at 850 meters of altitude, with a total of 5 hectareas of old vineyards of Garnacha. Here the altitude and the soil permit wine more vertical.
Sotorrondero a mix of the Syrah of mentrida and the garnacha of San Vincente; the Pielago a mix of the different ploth of San Vincente and Ataulfos a special single vineyards in San Vincente.

The vinification is traditional using wood-vat ofr the fermention and a blend of old barrique and barrel for the aging. Indigenous yeast and the wines are not filtred. All the wines have minimum 8 mounth of barrel instead the Ataulfos have 16 months.
