In 2010 they restored an old winery and Palmento at Solicchiata. They also have buried a series of Georgian Qvevri which they vinify in. The wines are made with minimal intervention, little or no sulphites and no fining or filtering. Anna made wine in Australia at Petaluma and then at Ornellaia on the Tuscan coast before meeting Eric and moving to Etna. Eric is the founder and MD of the highly successful UK wine importing company, Les Caves de Pyrene. He is also behind the creation of a group of natural wine bars/restaurants in London which include Terroirs.
