I have worked very young with my grandfather in his vines in Mercurey. He has passed me down the taste of working. At this time, wine was made for pleasure not for business.
After 10 years working in different domains, I wanted to find again this notion of pleasure that I could realize when I have created my own estate 27 years ago with biodynamical practice.
I came to Saint-Aubin thanks to a love story and I discovered in this appellation a richness in the terroir and exposition which allows to add value to the ancestral Burgundy practices through pure wines without input. I have been welcomed by my colleague in this village where I have been able to realize my dream.
Wine is made for pleasure not for business.
I have the ambition to make 100% Burgundy grape variety and the philosophy is not to intervene on the wine. My work involves watching to stay attentive to be closer from the vintage and terroir.
Domestic distribution is not exclusively through Indie Wineries.
