The higher tiered of François’ two bottlings
Each vintage will see a different blend.
Some will find it the greatest value, some call it obnoxious, other individuals or companies will invest in the ‘Chateaux’ and it even shakes the empire of the rising sun. We all have our own pre conceived opinion on Bordeaux….
Looking at the Estate by itself, the “Chateau”, the cellar and his 8 Ha of Vineyard, will bring a compassionate smile to your face and you will understand the honesty of the wine. Biodynamic, and no wood (concrete for two years) is absolutely not a standard in Bordeaux, however it brings a unique and beautiful, well balanced wine focused on the fruit and the perfect amount of tannins to be enjoyed in the present, not in 30 years. Liquid beauty and honesty!
The difference between the La Haie Bordeaux and the La Haie Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux is that there are some parcels that can not go into the Blaye because of border restrictions, and the highest quality grapes from the Blaye will not go into the Bordeaux.
