We are members of so many email distribution┬álists…

…and like clockwork somewhere around 3-4 weeks ago the Thanksgiving emails started to rain into our inboxes. The first are cute- reminders of a time of the year, bringing their own mental post-it note to check in with family and friends. What are you all doing for Thanksgiving, etc? Plans are made.┬áThe middle rounds spark creativity. Inboxes see fall releases. Allocations. Back vintages. Then we enter the descent. The clock starts ticking. The anxiety starts building. There’s a rush to make decisions. The right wine must be bought! And for all of us- at retail, at restaurants- the right inventory must be procured to be offered to our discerning guests.
